Shemin’s Indian Curry Paste

Our multi-award winning paste will be your new secret when it comes to Indian cooking. 

Ingredients

How to make Butter Bean and Mushroom Curry

  1. Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions, Shemin’s Curry Leaves, Dried Kashmiri Chillies, and Black Mustard Seeds. Sauté until the onions soften and begin to brown.
  3. Add Shemin’s Curry Paste and a splash of water. Simmer for 45 seconds. Then add Shemin’s Garam Masala and tomatoes, and sauté for a minute to cook the spices.
  4. Stir in the mushrooms to coat them in the spices. Deglaze with stock or water and leave to sauté for a minute.
  5. Add Shemin’s Mango Chutney and coconut milk, then leave to simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in the butter beans and chopped coriander, then simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then serve spooned over rice and with Shemin’s Indian Breads!
