Massaman Curry in a Hurry

Sometimes the best things are the simplest. Our much-loved ‘Curry in a Hurry’ recipes are a great way to cook delicious, authentic curries in a flash!

Using Shemin’s Massaman Curry Paste, add in your favorite ingredients at the last step and in ten minutes you will have a really authentic curry bursting with flavour.

Ingredients

1 Onion
100g Shemin’s Massaman Curry Paste
400g Chopped Tomatoes
1kg Vegetables/Meat/Fish/Lentils
200ml Coconut Milk (optional)

 

Method

  1. Fry one large onion until golden brown.
  2. Stir in 100g Shemin’s Massaman Curry Paste and a splash of water and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in 1kg meat and  / or veg and cook until done.
  4. Add 400g chopped tomatoes
  5. Add 200ml coconut milk (optional)

    The best massaman curry I have ever tasted.
    I used beef and potatoes in addition to the standard ingredients. The result was excellent. Also worked well in the slow cooker.
