- Mix together the chopped onions, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, coriander, tomatoes, green chillies, and mix it with the minced meat.
- Add all the spices ( Shemin’s Chilli Flakes, Shemin’s Garam Masala, Shemin’s Cumin Powder and salt). Mix well.
- Add the egg to the mixture and mix thoroughly. Then, add the flour to make the mixture less wet and more sticky so that the kebabs hold their shape better.
- Form the meat mixture into thin kebab patties and set them aside.
- Heat a frying pan, add oil, and place the kebab patties in the pan. Cook both sides for 2-3 minutes or until browned.
- Serve with Shemin’s Mango Chutney, Aubergine Pickle, and Shemin’s Indian Breads, with salad, or enjoy on their own.
Tips:
1. Choose Your Mince:
- Beef Mince: Provides a rich and robust flavour.
- Lamb Mince: Adds a distinctive taste that pairs well with the spices.
- Chicken or Turkey Mince: Leaner options that are still flavourful.
- Pork Mince: Offers a slightly sweeter taste.
- Mixed Meat Mince: Combines different meats for a depth of flavour.
2. Ensure Even Thickness: Form the kebab patties with an even thickness to ensure they cook uniformly.
3. Test the Mixture: Before forming all the kebabs, cook a small patty to taste and adjust seasoning and Shemin’s Garam Masala if necessary. The amount of salt is crucial to bring out the flavours.
4. Serving Suggestions: Serve with fresh tomato slices, onion slices, and top with coriander.
5. Perfect Beer Food: These kebabs make great snacks for game days. Consider making bite-sized versions for easy serving.
