Thai Pork Burgers

The subtle Thai flavours work so well in the burgers and matched perfectly with the mango salsa. Just perfect!


1kg Minced pork
100g Shemin’s Thai Red Curry Paste or Thai Green Curry Paste (or to taste)
1 Small red onion grated
1 Small bunch coriander chopped
Serve with some lettuce leaves and/or bread rolls and garnish

Mango and Cucumber Salsa
1 Mango skin removed and cubed
½ Cucumber seeded and cut into cubes
1 Red chilli finely chopped (optional)
Juice ½ lime


1. Mix together the pork mince, Thai paste, grated onion and half the coriander. Season and make into 8-9 burgers. Brush the burgers with a little oil then grill or BBQ for 5-6 minutes on each side until they are cooked through.
2. For the salsa, mix the mango, cucumber, chilli and the rest of the coriander with the lime juice.

To serve, put a burger on top of some lettuce leaves and spoon over some salsa or you can serve in a bun. Also perfect with wedges or chips!
